Can anyone offer suggestions please? Live in Wolverhampton and not originally from here. Thanks

There's a great splash pad and park at Walsall Arboretum, the splash pad is opening for the summer this weekend

Also, Cannock Chase if you have the means to travel there (about 30 mins by car from Wolverhampton

Sorry if not really the area you're looking for but we had a lovely day in Worcester last summer. Had a walk round the river, a picnic then played crazy golf. I think they've also opened a new activity/climbing centre

Telford town park (mostly free but there's a section you pay to go in)
Severn valley railway
Black Country museum at Dudley
West Midlands safari park

If you have national trust membership (or want to get it)

Wightwick manor and Mosley Old Hall. Attingham park is also that side of Birmingham and is in a beautiful part of the world.

Dudley Zoo is good fun. Often 2 for 1 offers on

Yes, it has Wonderland in it that you pay for but there's plenty of free play areas too.

shakeitoffsis · 29/05/2023 08:08

Peak wildlife park.

TheSquareMile · 24/08/2023 18:21

The Severn Valley Railway is nice, as is Bridgnorth, where the station is.

Habberley Trail is a fun afternoon out.

Not really a park but Trentham Gardens is a nice day out if it's not raining too much.
