When are your children's summer holidays starting?

Our school's summer holiday is starting Saturday 23rd July 2022 but the Friday before (22nd July) is an inset day. I was wondering if this would be a good day to go into London and do a couple of museums and hopefully it would be a bit quieter before the holidays really get started but perhaps a lot of schools are doing something similar? In which case all days are much of a muchness. I think Scottish schools finish even earlier so I guess this is more a question for English schools? Thanks!

Summer term ends Tuesday 18 July for my state school DC and Friday 8 July for my private school DC. We are in Essex.

Friday 22nd July for DD in primary school and Friday 15th July for DS in secondary school.

Tuesday 12th July is the first day of the summer holiday for DS school , Leicestershire area

21st July for mine. I know, I looked it up yesterday after booking Farnborough air show, and dh thought they might still be at school.
I reckoned they'd think it was educational enough anyway, but it is an inset day.

The state schools in my London borough finish on the 21st. DD is at a private so finishes on the 8th!

My two (at different schools) have their first days off on 20th and 21st July

Our last day of term is the 1st July.

Secondary schools here in Ireland finish up the end of May and national school finish end of June.... It's gonna be a long summer
