Moving to North Norfolk

Good afternoon

We are moving to Norfolk from The Wirral, north west England. Our house is under offer. We have some friends who live in Thorpe Market. We like Cromer, Holt, Mundesley.

It is a huge step, wondering if we should rent say for 3 months or just buy.
I will be retiring next year, so we are not bothered about employment or schools.
I am quite outgoing/friendly. Love walking/yoga and pilates.
Just wish I could find a site where people have done same as us. Wirral is too crowded, full of houses but great culture scene with Liverpool with all the theatres.
We do have a dog and we love animals.
Any suggestions on areas, please xx. PS we need a Kirsty and Phil x

You bung all your stuff into storage, pack a suitcase or two and move about. Treat it as an adventure and get to know the area. Is there anyone who would have the dog for a few weeks/ months (we had our DS’s when he was in a similar situation)?

Once you have found somewhere and put your offer in, can you go on holiday for a month overseas?

You’ve got to look at the situation with an open mind - it will all be over by Xmas.

The dog is elderly and he has cushings so it is a problem. He has to be with us. Both of us are not very good living out of a suitcase. What is fun in your 20's is not fun when you are 60!!! I am sure we will find a rental soon. We are spending a fortune in hotels up and down the country. Might be cheaper to get a campervan.
