Need advice on road permits in Leighton buzzard

can anyone local shed a light on permits for Springfield Road in Linslade?

e.g. Will a permit for that road specifically allow for parking on other neighbouring roads? Or will it simply only cover Springfield Road? It seems the number of houses outweigh the number of parking spaces available (bearing in mind there will be home owners with more than one car!)

From the Central Beds website, it looks like Springfield Rd is in a zone of its own, which I would think would mean it’s only for Springfield.
