kitchen extractor- Through roof or wall to outside?

I live on a windy farm.
I would like to modernize and rejig the kitchen.
This will involve a complete reno, including internal insulation and flooring insulation.
In view of the wind, am I best to take the kitchen extractor pipe up through the ceiling and roof, or out through the exterior wall?

No advice sorry but saw your post and wondered what you went for in the end? I also live on a windy farm and have a similar problem in where to send the flue from a little log burner that I want to put in!

Depends. Will it face into the prevailing wind if out through the wall? If not, the wall could be a good option. Remember to check for clearances for windows and doors as you don't want expelled air coming back in. All our fans are vented through the roofs.
