Family Relocation Hinkley Job

Hello! I am in the early stages of organising a family relocation as my husband is working at Hinkley near Taunton/Bridgwater.
We are a family of 4 ( with a 5 year old child and a new born). I am trying to find out some information about the nicest places to live nearby. I have heard the Bridgwater is not the best option for young families. Coming from London, I like the idea of rural living but also need access to amenities and schools/bus routes to Hinkley etc). Which towns are nice in the area? What are your personal experiences in this area of Somerset?

Be aware that Hinkley has blighted quite a few, especially at night.

I'm not sure what @Goldie82 is trying to say but I'd look at Taunton. Bridgwater is not very nice imo, however I left there over 20 years ago!

I moved from outer London to Bridgwater 20 years ago and I love it here. Everywhere has its bad bits. I think Bridgwater has just been neglected for years. But lots of investment, new homes etc now. I suspect you need to try staying for a weekend prior to relocation to get an idea on what’s on offer. My family all want to come and stay with me for the holidays!
