River Brue Somerset

Anyone live close to the River Brue in Somerset? What's the flood risk like? Looking at moving near to Glastonbury but concerned as the house is close to river Brue.

I wouldn't buy a house near the river, don't trust it. Better to buy a house higher up, if you looking at Glastonbury. The Somerset levels flood really bad, just this year it was flooded.

@vodkaredbullgirl thanks. We are looking slightly along to the east of glasto, a place called Meare - do you know much about it? Was it flooded too?

If you google Meare and does it flood it will show you, I don't know it well.
