Some advice and your own experience please. We are a non-white, UK born, bred, educated, living-and-working-in-London- and-UK all our lives family looking at moving from very ethnically diverse (and so very over crowded) SW London to the Sevenoaks area to be at bit closer to elderly family members and for a ‘better quality of life‘.
Could you give me your thoughts on living in these areas : Sundridge, Westerham, Oxted, Sevenoaks Weald? Pros/ Cons? How culturally diverse/ friendly/ welcoming can we expect these areas to be? Any particularly issues - we’ve heard of Sevenoaks NIMBYS, and how they can dominate the local areas - is this a real thing? Any other thoughts on traffic/ noise/ local private & state primaries and secondaries in these areas welcome.
Yes- this a long rambling list but anything from your own experience would be enormously helpful. We haven’t fixed on these areas - and are completely open to other areas - they’re just easier to catch the M25/ A21 from. TIA x
