I currently live in Hyde and looking to move within the next year to somewhere quite rural with good access to Manchester due to family. Will be WFH so commuting not a problem. Wanting good access to amenities and activities for children as I have a toddler and a ten year old. I drive so not needing to use public transport. Has to have great schools too.
I've been researching online at Bakewell, greenfield, uppermill, ramsbottom and rossendale valley. But wanted to know from people who know in real life about these areas as well or any other recommendations or areas. TIA
