Life in Bourne

Hi,

I've posted in education to ask about the Grammar school, but what's life like in Bourne?

Our sole reason for going there would be the school.

Work isn't an issue as we're fully remote and can continue our jobs anywhere with good wifi

My PILs live there. I don’t know it very well but they moved there 45 years ago to send DH to the grammar 🤣 he had a mediocre education at best but this was the 80s…sorry to be no help, but in your position I’d look at much nicer areas with ‘leafy’ comps.

Bourne is a fine small town. Nearby Peterborough for shopping, fast train to London. Historic Stamford on the doorstep. There are other grammar schools such as Sleaford and Grantham to consider also.
