Relocation

Hi all, we are looking at relocating from Yorkshire to penicruik in Midlothian, we have heard good and bad things, just looking for honest opinions before we make a decision. X

Note I don't live there, but have worked there for a few days and travel through on occasion. You may want to learn to say/spell it correctly before you come up.

Penicuik seems like quite a mixed place - some very well to do properties and some rather cheaper estates. The schools feel a real mix, but as with most of Scotland they are good schools. Greenspace is nearby, as are many employment opportunities and of course Edinburgh.

Have you been up and stayed at all?
