What do you consider to be the best value place to live in the UK, when comparing how much there is to do there vs price of property.
Currently live in London which obviously has lots to do and the price tag to go with it.
Would go crazy living somewhere rural, even though you get so much more for your money and I’d love the extra space.
Other big cities - eg Manchester - have loads to do and are exciting places to be (eg new restaurants, things going on, a buzz about the place) but are not that cheap.
There are cheaper towns, but having visited a couple they can be quite stuck in the past.
So where is a good compromise? A good city with lots to do, but without the price tag to match?
