My partner and I are looking to move out of London and into Berkshire to have our first baby due in November. I work remotely but tend to meet customers and colleagues in London or Reading. My partner is a contractor and is due to start a 3 month contract in High Wycombe a few days a week.
We don’t have family or friends in England so I am facing the challenge of probably spending most of my maternity on my own. We were considering moving to Reading but I prefer the idea of moving to Newbury which seems to have a more village-y feel.
Any ideas around where we could live in a 3-bed house or flat for no more than 1500-1700£ p.m. with a bit of greenery and some amenities would be much appreciated!
