Hi MNers. We currently live in Guildford in a semi detached townhouse and need somewhere with a bit more space now we have 2 children. Guildford prices are insane and we know we can get a bit more value in the surrounding villages. We've found a property we like in Normandy but Normandy doesn't really have a center so just wondered what living there might be like and if there are any MNers who live there currently/have done in the past? Also, can see the primary school close by but where are the secondary schools? Thanks so much

Have you looked at Farnham? The north is slightly cheaper than the south. The schools are amazing.

A bit late to this thread, but if you're still considering/looking around. I currently live in Godalming and I think it's a really nice area, not too expensive too (though everything is right now). Have friends who live in Witley which is also nice. Just a couple of suggestions.
