Mud mud everywhere - recommendation for a sofa protector

It's been sooooo soggy for weeks that every dog walk and every excursion to check on my chickens leaves us all thick with mud.

I am in need of something to protect my dogs from muddy paws as we also have a lack of doors to stop my gorgeous, yet ridiculous, hound bouncing all over the places and covering everything in filth.

We did have one that sort of lay over the dogs and tucked in but it just slides about and comes off. I need something more fixed in position.

Any one have any ideas?

Could you consider one of those dryrobe suits for the hound?

Disclaimer, I do not have a dog, nor do I live rurally

I could but I don't know that I'd be arsed to put it on him every time I just let him in the garden. It'd stop the "body mud" though!

He's a bit of a bugger. He know he's meant to wait and get his paws dried but will sometimes just run past me. It's the paws. His big goody messy paws.

I have trained mine to 'shake' before they come in and also walk through a shallow pool of water (in a low trough type bucket) so they just have wet paws and not muddy ones.
