Hello, to give a little backstory, myself and my husband lived in London together which we absolutely loved, we relocated abroad but have realised that we want to be back in the UK to start a family.
My husband is not British and we are both of dual heritage. Between us, we share 4 different backgrounds and cultures and this has meant that living in London allowed us to feel at home as we do not 'fit' into one community.
Ultimately we want to be close to London but value the safety, outdoors and close links that the surrounding towns have to offer. My concern is that some of these towns boast a strong community (which we also value), but are worried that we may not necessarily fit into the predominantly white-British communities.
