Hi there, does anyone currently live in Hebden Bridge? What's it like, is it a nice place to live? Crime rates etc - are there nice places to eat/drink etc?

I don’t live there anymore.

It’s nice, very touristy!! Lot of gorgeous shops selling stuff you don’t want or need & lots selling stuff you will want but not need and a few shops selling stuff you actually need. You will need to go to Halifax or Tod to go to Lidl/Morrisons. The train station is not in the town centre - so annoying! It floods. Badly. I mean, life wrecking, uninsurable floods. So make sure you are not in the valley. There are nice places to eat/drink & you are able to get to Leeds/Manchester etc very easily. The cinema is lovely.

Hi there, don’t live there but grew up nearby-ish and keep intermittently daydreaming about moving there from the big smoke! What stops me is the weather and not knowing anyone. What attracts me is the sense of community and the landscape! Are you thinking about moving there?
