We are about to move to Uk this year. Now we are deciding which city should we go for? And is it hard to rent a house in UK now?
Background:
A family of 3 from Hong Kong , with a 3 yo son
Concerns:
Job opportunities, went for Job searching engine like Reed, seems Manchester has plenty of jobs, but the house price seems rose a lot on past years, price for house in Sale and Altrincham are really surprising, any with more affordable price suggested?
School for our son, would like to have nursery class, hope he can adapt to English speaking environments ASAP, and crime rate also concerned about
Transportation, cities with subway / trams preferred, since my wife doesn't know how to drive, is it really difficult to pass driving test in Uk, had done research saying it is one of the hardest among the world and the test last for more than half an hour.
Don't know if Manchester is the right choice for us
