Relocating to Ludlow

Can anyone suggest any nice quiet villages in the Ludlow area... with nice pub, countryside and friendly people!
We are relocating end of this year and any suggestions very welcome!

How close to Ludlow do you want to be?

Are you looking for a small village, likely with just a pub, or something larger with more amenities?

We are in the Clun Valley and I would recommend it - but it may be further afield than you want to be. Clun itself has a lot going for it - even though it has lost the petrol station/garage and the newsagent in the time we have been here.

We are looking within a 15-20 mins drive if possible

And just a small village - quiet, decent pub - coming from a large village almost town so want smaller
