Hi I am thinking of relocating to Swanley can anyone tell me what the area is like I have two children 19and 21 so schools and playing areas are not of interest as they both work and will be using the train as the time it takes to get to bromley is appealing just would like to know if the area is nice to live safe as much as it can be close to london people are friendly ect thanks

It’s a dive, and not rural- so if that’s what you’re looking for I’d look elsewhere.

No it’s not very nice at all. Good transport links though.
I moved near there from the North and found the whole area to be generally quite unfriendly… but that might be because people are very friendly up north. If you’re from the south you may be used to it!

Good transport links but better can be found for same/less money further out. Hextable is a bit nicer.
