Hi I’m thinking of moving to Leatherhead / Fetcham. Our pref was near Hampton Court but it’s too expensive. I have a 2 and 4 year old. I can’t find much info on these areas but any thoughts welcome. Thanks

Both nice enough areas, not sure it counts as rural living mind so might be worth posting elsewhere or joining a more locally focused group - Leatherhead in particular is a suburban town.

The town centre isn’t especially inspiring but has everything you need. Pretty good train service to London although SW Trains are consulting on a reduction in service - worth checking out if you will be commuting daily.

Schools on the whole are good, both state and private, if you are catholic then there is a very good state secondary option.

Decent countryside on your doorstep.
