whats it like in Weymouth

dear All,

need some help,im considering moving to weymouth
and wondered what people thought either those who have lived there or those who currently live there....

im looking across the bridge near abbotsbury road that area,
trying to avoid being right in town, but close enought to walk in...

I went there for a week. Was full of other holiday makers too ( loud ones ) . And seagulls. And litter . I haven't felt the urge to go back. Did go to the swan place near abbotsbury, that was nice. Less litter and more greenery. Poundbury was nicer . I'd go there again .

Preston area of Weymouth is nice

Have you thought about Dorchester. It's not far from Weymouth but doesn't "shut down" in winter in the way that some coastal towns do
