He flew into the window this morning when my husband and I were having a cup of tea in the garden at about eight. He promptly hit the ground, feet in the air. After a bit of twitching we though that it was all over. BUT after about 5 minutes on his back, he got himself the right way up and sat there for half an hour with his eyes shut. At this point, I decided to put him in a box on it's side to protect him from the wind and any rain showers. A couple of hours later we left him sitting in the box and went out. Just as we came back we saw him fly out!! Completely fine! Unbelievable - my husband nearly put him in the bin!!!!

Aw, poor little bird! Really glad he recovered and your husband didn't throw him in the bin!
Although, maybe keep an eye out for a cross-eyed blackbird flying in circles.Grin

Lol! He did look like a young one I "know" from our garden so I think I should see him again.
