Honesty? It’s not the best. It’s surrounded by very rough poor areas like hartcliffe and Knowle west. The village part is a bit nicer. The facilities are rubbish- drs voted one of the worst in Bristol. There is an Asda but it’s quite rough.
It certainly isn’t rural.
Primary schools- Bridge farm is good. Perry court has improved.
Local senior schools will be either Hengrove or hartcliffe both not great.

Sorry to not have anything positive to say.

Depending on your budget I would pick Keynsham over Whitchurch which is not far away along a country road.

Agree if you can afford it Keynsham is great. Good schools and facilities. Some middle class areas and even the cheaper areas in Keynsham are still nice. In between Keynsham and Whitchurch is Stockwood. Stockwood isn’t as nice as Keynsham but more affordable and definitely nicer than Whitchurch. Stockwood also has ok facilities. Good school and doctors.
