What is Cromer like for a young family ? My husband works all over the UK so doesn't matter where we are for his work I am a SAHM.
Really want to live by the coast somewhere peaceful, safe, nice pubs, cafes, playgroups, community

I don't know much about the schools etc but Cromer is a good place to live. Even better IMO is Sheringham. Better walks, a little bit more upmarket and more picturesque. And you can easily get to Cromer for chips on the pier Grin

I especially can't comment on pubs. I stopped going to them years ago. Playgroups I'm no good, too.

Cromer definitely has some nice cafes.

Sheringham or Mundesley would also tick 'peaceful' box. Sheringham currently has best reputation for schools in that group.
