Moving to Oxfordshire

Hello wise mums,
I am looking for some advice regarding a move to Oxfordshire. Currently living in a flat in London and with the lockdowns we realized that living in a flat just isn't sustainable any more and would like to move to Oxfordshire.
We have a few main criteria for the move, which is an all girls school for my 9 year old daughter and proximity to the station for our eventual commute to London. Having researched this for hours on end we ended up choosing St Helens & St Katherines school in Abingdon which seems very good and housewise we quite like a new-build in Blaise Park in Milton.
My question is to the people who are local to the area- we dont currently have reservations about the school, it seems to provide academic achievement without being a hothouse (am I wrong there?), however we do have some doubts regarding the Redrow newbuilds and the Milton area. Is it any good? What is it like living there? Do you know anyone living in those newbuilds and if so are they happy? Does it have any bad rep?

We would very much appreciate your opinions. Many thanks!
