CHIPPING CAMPDEN

Hi I have 2 boys age 1 and 10 I live in the West Midlands right now and I’m thinking of moving to Chipping Campden. As beautiful as it is on the eye, would you say children get bored living that way? I’m just a quiet down to earth mother not rich lol would you say I would fit in too ?

I live about 15 minutes from Chipping Campden, we moved here around 2 years ago when our children were 4&2. Our children absolutely love living rurally, it has really nurtured a love of the outdoors and nature for them. There is a great secondary school in the town so that's a big positive, plus it's gym and swimming pool are open to the public. There is a little library as well. Personally though I wouldn't choose Chipping Campden to live in because whilst it is beautiful I just don't think it has as much going on as some other Cotswold towns, e.g.Moreton in Marsh . Also Moreton just has a slightly more down to earth feel...just my personal preference!

However it is absolutely stunning and you'll have amazing walks on your door step. We live just on the edge of the Cotswolds in a village. It's not as pretty but I feel like it's a great intro to living in the countryside as we have a large town on our doorstep in one direction and the Cotswolds on our doorstep in the other. I do daydream about living in a Cotswold cottage though Grin

Hth!

Also seriously thinking about moving to Chipping Campden. Did you do it @Rachel7979

I'm mid-50s and would be moving there without knowing anyone. Will I meet new friends and have stuff to do?
