Rosewell, Midlothian - considering a move

Hi All,

My wife and I are considering a move to Rosewell in Midlothian, usual story in that we want more space than Edinburgh can give us for our budget.

We were wondering if there are any parents who have moved out here and if any of you have thoughts or opinions on the Rosewell Primary School.

We have been unable to find almost any information online and of course with all the restrictions for Covid, have been unable to engage with anyone in person.

Any feedback would be great, as it looks like a lovely place to live.

Many thanks!

Hi tireddaddy I'm not sure you'll get many people seeing your post here- you could try the Scotsnet board, or a local board (if you report your own post to MNHQ they'll move it for you)

We are moving out from Edinburgh too. Have been considered a lot of place include Rosewell. But in the end we decided to move to Calderwood in between Livingston to Edinburgh. They will have new primary school open next year and a quite good high school. Maybe you can have a look.
