Hello, first time posting here...
We are seriously considering a move to Sparsholt or surrounding area, and we don’t know anyone in the area. We have a 2 year old who is very happy when with other children. I know the schools in the area are great, and so she will make friends then, and if she goes to nursery too (but that will be September next year at the earliest).
Is anyone able to help me out with what parents do with young kids do to meet and make friends in this area?? (I’m more concerned about my little one making friends than me!). I know things are different right now with covid which makes things tricky .. but at the moment in London, we eg go to the local park every day, which has a good playground where she has a little set of friends (which she will miss - argh!). Not sure if this is the same kind of set up around sparsholt/Winchester? Would we need to go into Winchester for everything?
It is beautiful and we are really looking forward to getting away from the busy ness of London, but on a recent visit it seemed so very quiet, and I’m getting a bit of the fear!
