Cheltenham v leamington spa

Just wondered if anyone can help with pros and cons of each. I'm coming from London. I ideally value sense of community. Good schools, I have 2 small children (single parent). I would love bit of life so I'm not so shocked leaving hustle & bustle which I think I will miss)!

Any advice would be great :)

Grew up in Leamington and now live in Stratford. It's a lovely place with a good sense of community. The smaller suburbs (Sydenham, whitnash, Radford) all have lovely areas but like anywhere also have poorer areas. It's a great central point and can easily access other areas/towns from it without too much hassle. Good schools too. Don't know Cheltenham that well just that it seems more rural in the outskirts but then bigger town centre than Leamington. Sorry, probably not too helpful!

Cheltenham is a full sized town. Mr superdry owns most of it.

Good schools. Nice rural villages within short drives.

Leamington is a nice place. I used to live a few streets from the Parade and have family there. Warwick and Kenilworth have better schools though. Leamington does have some good private schools

A lot of people look down on the Sydenham and Whitnash areas of Leamington and areas beyond the railway bridge at the bottom of the Parade. Strangely though Sydenham has an Ofsted rated one primary school

I prefer Warwick to Leamington, a lot quieter
