Hi!
Expecting our first baby next year.
We're looking to move to North Yorkshire.
Can anyone recommend places to live with a young family?
Important to us are good public transport (I don't drive due to disability), good schools and strong community with as little deprivation as possible.
Would be really interested in thoughts on Knaresborough/Malton/Pickering/General Ryedale/Hambleton towns and large villages, or places surrounding York city.
Thank you :-)

N Yorks is a huge place. Knaresborough/Harrogate/ are good for schools and public transport. Malton has a station but is otherwise quite rural. Pickering and Ryedale are lovely but not great if you don't drive.

Northallerton or Richmond are nice.
