Hi all mums,

Looking to relocate from SW in London to Epsom ...finding it really tough to house search through the pandemic.

Would you be able to help with best schools / best streets to live in !

We've seen a few properties in Fir Tree Road but the station and the town seem a little further out than we'd like.

Any help is appreciated.

Thank you

We're just bumping this thread in case anyone's around with some local knowledge for the OP.

@kgjEmily, you may also want to post a thread in our Local, Epsom topic. Best of luck with your house search.

You may get more traffic by starting a thread in the property section I wouldn’t class Epsom as rural, so that may explain the lack of replies.
HTH and good luck. I grew up near there and it’s a decent place to live.

You could try moving this thread - Epsom is a large suburban town.

I've heard Wallace Fields is good. There are a couple of local pre-preps but obviously there people come from further afield.

Epsom isn't rural 😂

MyBeloved · 18/06/2020 10:55

There are rural areas outside of Epsom - Lower Kingswood for example? But Epsom is not rural.

RandomMess · 18/06/2020 11:11

Good luck finding a home but agree with the others, Epsom is not rural and the town centre traffic is tedious!!!

How old are your children? Are you looking for private or state schools?

GrumpyMiddleAgedWoman · 19/06/2020 18:01

Nope, not rural. Epsom is still London, as far as I'm concerned.
