Wasnt sure what section to put this. We live in small rural village. We have a lane ru ning down the side of our house 30 meters.access to a housing estate at end of lane my relative lives at end of it behind our house. We had large hedges almost trees they were so tall so dyri g lockdown we chopped them all down were heavily shading the garden and looked bad. We have lots of wood and mulched the rest
So now we are totally exposed so I'm thinking anyone git advise on what to put there we are digging it all to get stumps out thinking of a wall fence or hedge bot sure what's best we want privacy we both work and dont have time for clipping hedges but a wall may be too expensive

Hawthorne, and blackthorne is very good and fairly fast growing and quite traditional. Good security wise too as they are very spikey. They like being hacked back too. Not much care needed at all for them to thrive.

Walls are very expensive. Hedges need tending. So get a fence.
