Moving to Horley

Hello!

My DH and I are thinking about putting an offer on a property in Horley but would love som opinions from those currently living there or have lived there on what it’s like? The commute is good for both of us as we have to go into London but are looking for a good area for kids one day.

Any help would be great appreciated!!

Both my grandchildren have been very happy at Horley infants and Yattendon Junior school. Oakwood senior school did have some problems a few years ago but now has an excellent headmaster who has really turned it round. The town has a new library and a lovely furniture/homewares store in Collingwood Batchelor, a decent Waitrose and Lidl. Really handy for Gatwick Airport which is a short bus ride away or even walkable. Good train service to London and the coast. The hospital in Redhill is very good too. Nice pubs and countryside nearby, Surrey hills, Sussex Weald and Ashdown Forest within easy reach. Good luck, with your move! Smile
