Relocating

Hi

I'm new here on mums net! I am wanting any tips on advice on relocating. I am a single mum of two (3 years and 8 years) and I am wanting to start over somewhere completely new for several reasons. We currently live in Manchester.
Has anyone done this before? I am determined to make it happen...but I don't even know where to start!

Well, start with all the things that are going to influence your choice

Budget is a big one
Then do you need to work? Can you do that anywhere or will you need to be in a particular part of the country? Will you need to commute?

Will you need phone signal ?
Will you need broadband ?
(I known any of us could in an unexpected emergency, but as a general regular rule) Do you need hospital or particular medical services?
Do you want to live in a village?
Or within a limited distance of a town?
Are you thinking of England or whole of UK? Or do you want to stay within a reasonable distance of Manchester?
Do you need to be within X hours of family or an airport or something else?
