We're thinking of moving to any one of these places with our 3 year old. Anyone know the best places to live? The areas to avoid? etc. Thank you!

There are some nice villages like swanage. Waymouth and Dorchester are nice towns. They are reasonably big

I know these areas well I live in one of them. Dorchester has been voted the healthiest place to live in the uk. Although dorchester is full of depressed old people waiting to die. There is poundpiece which looks like a mini old city they are still building 20years on and counting. Weymouth has the beach and coast but still full of judjy people I would stay where you are as I wish I did. Looks are not everything especially when it comes to places to live. Where are you from?

Do you want to be really rural, or in a town or village? What facilities would you want to be near? (Railway, bus, swimming pool, gym, shopping, cinema, theatre, schools, nursery, whatever.)

What about work? A commute that isn't far distance-wise can become time-consuming/impossible in winter.

I think being able to answer some of these questions will give you a clearer idea of where might be better.
