We currently live offshore but want to move to Cornwall as we love it. Thinking of selling up and buying a house with holiday cottages in the grounds but have never run such a business before. OH is v practical and can tile a bathroom, make things with wood etc etc but me not so much. I can keep my job on remotely so we'd have an income coming in and we have a fair amount of cash available if we liquidate our assets but we are a bit scared. Does anyone have experience of running holiday lets in Cornwall or anywhere else? For budget purposes, on average, how many weeks of the year is such accommodation usually full? Any recommendations for nice (but affordable) parts of cornwall?
