What to do with inherited land?

We've inherited about 10 acres of a bit hilly land, a bit of that is woodland. There is a house with the land, needs modernising.

We would love to start a small business but we don't know where to start! We don't really do horses (expensive).

My DHs uncle used to have horses on it back in the day.

does it have any entitlements attached to it?

Depends where you are and what your local plan is really... the advice is blatently going to be different if its in the middle of the Lake District than if you are on the outskirts of a housing estate in Wigan...
