Adderbury or Middleton Cheney- family friendly?

Hi. I am looking to relocate from London to Oxfordshire area and we are considering Adderbury and Middleton Cheney. Does anyone have any thoughts about which would be best for a young family (2 and 5) where parents would need to commute to London regularly (though hopefully not every day)?
We are looking for a nice community and Adderbury seems particularly attractive but not sure if there will be many younger children around. Any thoughts much appreciated before we leap! Thank you

I love Adderbury. We’re the next village along and I’d love to move to Adderbury. Good toddler group, library and great community feel in the village. I also have a 2yo if you need a friend!
I’m afraid I don’t know Middleton Cheney so can’t comment on what it’s like there.

Oh lovely thank you for your reply and glad to hear you like the area. Some possible options for houses so may well be in touch again to meet up one day! If anyone else has any insights on the areas round banbury generally do shout, especially re Middleton Cheney- still an option! Thank you!

Adderbury is beautiful, lovely community spirit and would have no hesitation in recommending it.

Agree Adderbury is lovely, as is Deddington. Middleton Cheney is also nice, but feels more remote somehow. Property prices cheaper too, as it's on the Northamptonshire border.
