Hi everyone,

I'm just wondering about where the nicest place to live in W Yorkshire Is? We want somewhere scenic with countryside so not in/outskirts of each city! Also wanting somewhere with good schools

I know that Horsforth is a lovely place to live but it's also very expensive to buy around that area. I've researched a bit into it and have heard that pudsey or hebden bridge are nice?

My original plan was to move to Chester but I don't think that's happening now due to personal reasons..

We might consider North and South Yorkshire as well.

Thank you!! X

I'm a bit confused - none of the places you have mentioned are particularly rural.

Yeah I know, it's only because I don't know where the rural parts are.. if I had to settle for anything else then it would them places I suppose :)

Ilkley, gateway to the moors and good schools, expensive housing though. Villages outside of Selby, good prices, not sure of schools but near to York and Leeds. Villages outside Pontefract, Holmfirth and surrounds.

My ds lives in Holmfirth. Lovely and rural but not too far from Leeds or Manchester for work. My ds commutes to Leeds everyday. He loves where he lives
