Commuting from Goring/Streatley on Thames

Hello

Does anyone commute to London from here? What is it really like to do every day? I would be commuting to the West End. How long does it actually take door to door? Are the trains busy? Any tips?

Hi there,

Used to live in Reading and commute to West London. I took the Heathrow bus, which runs from the rail station. I picked up the Tube at Heathrow.
It was cheaper than the train but I did get very tired. I think the trains are fairly reliable, but yes, they can be crowded.
