Markfield- relocating any help/advice appreciated

Hi,

We are relocating from London and are in love with a house in Markfield. Does anyone know anything good or bad about the area/schools? We ideally wanted to live in Barrow upon soar but we just cant find a property we like there. We are expecting our first baby in Jan so the clock is ticking,

Hi..i know barrow u/s..its not far from where i live..i live in a village quite near..i don't know much about markfield so not much help to you..i know where it is but i wouldn't say it was rural...however..there are some beautiful locations/villages not far such as syston, thurmaston, wymeswold all worth checking out. Good luck with your move x
