Moving to Harpenden

Hi all,

We are looking at moving from London to Harpenden in the next couple of months or so. I am currently a stay at home mum and have three very young children.

Whilst I am looking forward to the move, I am also a little apprehensive about leaving behind close friends and family and moving to a completely new area.

Is it relatively easy to meet other mums in Harpenden? Is there a lot going on for small children? Has anyone else moved from London to the area?

Any information/advice is very much welcome.

I don't live there but have family there. It is a busy town and lots going on. Always seemed to be lots of young families about when I've visited and I know family member found toddler groups and so forth.

Hopefully this will bump for you so someone with more detail will come along and help.
