And my garden is a hive of robins, tits and sparrows now!

It's the first time I've made them and I've just stuffed the mixture on top of a stone wall and in crevices.

I used lard, peanuts and raisens.

What else can I use in the mixture and any good ideas for putting it out rather than just stuffing it in crevices?

We put it in margarine tubs and hang it up. You could put seeds in?

Get a proper rat proof hanging thing for them rather than putting them on the walls or else your place will be a hive of rats along with the birds!

Did you leave one in the fridge for your DH?

My dh has definite man vision when it comes to the fridge. If it's in foil, Tupperware or even cling film he wouldn't see it.

I'd have to shove it in his crevices for him to notice it
