Anyone lives around here? We are contemplating a move to get into the Lincroft and Sharnbrook catchment area but I really don't want to be too cut off from amenities. Anyone living around there? We both have commuting to do up and down the M1 for work. Any advice most gratefully received!

I'm local to the area, and a Lincroft/Sharnbrook alumnus to boot. These schools are about to transition from 3 tier to 2 tier, with Lincroft converting from middle to secondary and Sharnbrook from upper to secondary. So it's either/or in future as opposed to my both, and priority is given to the school that your home address is closest to. Commute time to J13 and J14 is mostly dictated by the time to get round Bedford/Kempston (much easier with the bypasses now) and into MK (A509) rather than round the north Beds villages.
