Dorchester and poole

I'm applying for a job at Poole hospital but I don't think I can afford to live anywhere nice in the town. I was thinking Dorchester would be a good option. Does anyone have any experience of commuting in to Poole from there? Thanks

It's not bad, probably 30-40 mins depending on time of day and traffics, duel carriage way from Dorchester to Bere Regis, slowish road and the duel carriage way again. If you are doing long shifts you should miss most of the traffic at both ends of the day, option of train as well.
