Schools in/near hurst green that aren't seperate!!!

We have seen a gorgeous house in Hurst green that we potentially want to go for.
I currently live in Kent and have a child who will be in year 2 this coming sept (he's just turned 6) and a child who will start reception this sept.
I've noticed most of the schools in the area are seperate infant and junior schools.
Does anyone know if there are any that are ages 4-11? In or around the area? (Not private schools).
I really don't want to move my eldest to a new school just to do 1 year for him to be moved again when he is 7!
If not, are any of the infant/junior schools attached to each other? X

In Surrey most of the schools are separate infant and junior schools. Downs way and st mary's in oxted are physically near each other but separate schools. Downs way easier to get into from hurst green than st Mary's - no automatic link. If you like combined primary schools then better to stay in Kent eg crock ham hill is. Near the Surrey border but an all through primary. But a v small catchment so no chance of getting in from hurst green. Feel free to pm me if you want more info

Which hurst green are you talking about op? The one on Surrey or the one in e Sussex?

Nearest is probably Godstone primary, but that is 10-15 mins by car, or maybe Tatsfield or Lingfield. Iirc it is Hurst Green/Holland that is the local combination. The Infants schools do tend to feed on. However if your ds is y2 already you would have missed the general application deadline for this September.

Realising my comment didn't count as for a minute i bought hurst green was kent, sorry op. I'm further across East Sussex about half hour from hurst green and here they are all primary not infants and then juniors

Hi, sorry I meant the hurst green in Surrey (oxted).
My son is in year 1 at the moment but we are looking at a new build that won't be ready till July/Aug so he would be starting year 2 in sept (in year transfer)
I'm just not sure I want him going to a diff school for a year just for him to change again?!
I'm unfamiliar with seperate infant and junior schools- do most kids feed to the same junior school? Would it be a massive deal for him to do this?
My youngest starts reception in sept but having missed the cut off I'm hoping to apply late with my eldest already had secured a place in said school and get the little one in as a "sibling". X
My ex lives coulsdon way and would be taking the kids to school twice a week so I could apply for a primary school that's more in between us (caterham way?) but not sure the likely hood of getting them in?

There are all through schools in caterham eg St. John's and st Catherine's. Moving between an infant and a junior is no big deal because everybody does it and the schools gear them up amazingly wel for it. I like the smaller infant school where dcs get treated like the 'big' ones in yr 2- really boosted my dds' confidence. Whether all dcs move on to the same junior really depends on the infant school.
Personally I wouldn't fancy a twice daily drive between hurst green and caterham but it might make sense in your situation. If you eg went for hurst green school and Holland you wd find most dcs do follow on. I guess getting into yr2 is usually ok and then you wd get a sibling place probably wherever you picked. Worth looking at the schools- infants in the area are hurst green downs way, st Peters and limpsfield.

Yes having done a bit of research this morning it doesn't seems as big a deal as I thought (ds1 moving from infant to juniors) and the drive might be too much especially as I have to hop on a train to London after drop off!
Would need to look into entry criteria etc but if we go for the new build we want we can exchange contracts as soon as mortgage is approved and not complete until Aug which would work well with school. I'm hoping I can use exchange paper work as proof of address? Would have to look into it x
