Does anybody live in Wendover Bucks or know it? We may be moving there with toddler ds and trying to get an idea of what it's like for a young family and what kind of community is there.

Yes I have lived here since my DD was 4, and she went to the John Hampden Infants and Wendover Junior school, which were both excellent. I have heard that the Infants school is expanding from 90 to 120 places in reception. A lot of new houses have been built on the old RAF hospital site. I have heard good things about the Halton combined school too, but I think it is mainly RAF families.
It's a nice place to live but bear in mind that the HS2 rail link will pass close to the railway here. Wendover Woods is close by, which is good for walking. The High Street is small and there isn't a large supermarket, just Budgens and Tesco Express. There are a couple of decent pubs and restaurants.
