Hi there, I'm bright and shiny new here, just registered for advice since mumsnetters seem to know everything!

I am looking to move and have no idea where to move to. I am looking for somewhere that has:

*Good music venues, large and small
*Good transport links including an international airport within reach
*Access to big towns/cities with all the usual facilities/jobs etc
*An accessible university
*Preferably close to the sea (the closer the better)
*Close to the countryside/forests
*Is affordable (I am moving from the South East)

There must be some elusive place on this beautiful island that ticks my boxes. Any suggestions? Thanks so much.

Bristol?

Saddleworth? Not close to the sea but has the rest, depending on your music taste.
Norwich/surrounding villages: thoroughly recommend this area although it is pricey, it's less pricey than some.

Yes Bristol sprung to my mind too. You can live rurally near Bristol and still access all of its amenities very easily.

Affordable too. We moved this way from London and set ourselves up nicely doing so.

Newcastle?

Bristol, Cardiff, Manchester, Newcastle.

What's your definition of an accessible University? Accessible by whom?
