Looking for somewhere to move between London and Chichester

Hi all

I'm looking for some advice on places to move to.

I'm currently in south london and need to get into london for work but my other half has got a new job in chichester.

We're both in our early 30s and like to go out to nice restaurants, bars and local pubs.

Can anyone recommend any towns between the two that would be nice to live in, have the above nightlife and be within an hour commute or less for us both?

Cobham is lovely and offers a great high street. Anywhere along the A3 should be good for you too.... My best advice is to go and visit a few little towns and get a feel for your self.

A 3 is a bit too far over. How about Dorking, Horsham or even Petersfield.

Farnham maybe. An hour each way could be tricky though. Whereabouts in London do you need to go?

If you want to be on the London-Chichester train line then Horsham is your best bet. If you go for places on the south-west train line then your partner would have to change to get to Chichester which doubles the chances of being delayed.
